The Red Thread Chinese Proverb

TIGHTENED, TANGLED BUT NEVER BROKEN An Ancient Chinese proverb says

TIGHTENED, TANGLED Simply NEVER Broken

An Ancient Chinese proverb says " An invisible scarlet thread connects those destined to meet, despite the time, the place, and despite the circumstances. The thread tin be tightened or tangled, but will never be broken."

Call it a sacred contract. Call it destiny, kismet, karma, fortune or fate.  It seems nosotros all  meet the people nosotros need to come across at the exact moments we're meant to. And with each person  comes the offer of a potential lesson and a learning. Some of these seemingly "random"encounters are painful. Some are blissful. Most are an interweave of both.

Then if you lot feel stuck, lonely, disconnected, remember that "invisible carmine thread".  And to brand that red thread visible, to facilitate possible new encounters try any of these suggestions:

  • Try a new road home from piece of work or from church or from the gym.
  • Become on vacation somewhere – by yourself, or with some friends y'all have not travelled with before.
  • Go to the store at an hour you normally wouldn't and better even so, go to a different shop in a different location.
  • Start following a blog that interests y'all or sign up for an interactive retreat online.
  • Sign up for a class, whatsoever course: writing, pottery, quilting, photography etc …
  • Visit an unfamiliar neighbourhood, drive to a new town or village.  Savour some side-walks off the browbeaten path.
  • Join the gym. Take a yoga class. Merelypracticesomethingdissimilar.
